Specifications Marco Acerbis View all Polaris Marco Acerbis designs Born in 1973 Marco Acerbis graduates from Politecnico di Milano in 1998. From 1997 to 2004 he lives in London where he works with Lord Norman Foster's Studio. Over these years he collaborates on the construction of an eight storey high Medical Research Building at the Imperial College Campus in London. He then becomes Project Architect for Capital City Academy, a 250 meter long High School for 1400 students which was opened by the British Prime Minister. His interests cover a wide range of subjects from architecture to product design, from interior design to graphic art. He designs products for Max Design, FontanaArte, Desalto, Colombo Design, Baldassare Agnelli Cooking Tools, Alias, Acerbis International. In line with his interest for sustainable architecture he is responsible for designing Xeliox Energy Lab, the first industrial building to be certified Class A in Italy. He lives and works in Bergamo. Vertigo floor lamp is included in the permanent collection of the Vitra Design Museum. Prius door handle has a special mention at the XXI edition of the Compasso d'Oro Award. Standing shelving wins the 'Young & Design Competition' third prize at the Milan Furniture Fair year 2000.
